Research Info: Survey of Business Conditions

PATCA Board member Suraiya Ahmed of Spectrum Insights recommends "Tatum’s Survey of Business Conditions" as a resource to help consultants understand the monthly changes in our economic environment. 

The survey offers unique insight regarding important business indicators. Tatum describes it as follows:

"Each month Tatum takes a survey of nearly 1,000 of our executive and consulting professionals nationwide to gain insight on the U.S. business climate. The survey measures business conditions for the past 30 days and looking ahead 60 days. Our survey is unique in the ability to capture opinions of CFOs, Controllers and CIOs in a broad base of industries across the country, offering a read on the pulse of the US economy."

It is especially interesting to not that the optimism that is clearly evidenced in the trendline that shows an increasing ratio of opinions that believe the economy is improving, vs those who disagree.
